 Who discovered quantum mechanics?  It was twin birth in the year 1926.
Heisenberg discovered "Matrix Mechanics" and Schrodinger discovered  "Wave Mechanics"

 

It was Max Born who anticipated that new mechanics was needed and
named it Quantum Mechanics, even before its birth, in the Year 1924
