Hint

This is a straight forward question.  First write the conjugate vector conjugate to the given vector. Call given vector  as \(| A\rangle\), i.e.

\begin{equation} | A\rangle = \cos x | \uparrow \rangle + \exp(-i\phi)\sin x | \downarrow\rangle \end{equation}

Therefore we will have

\begin{equation}\langle A| = \cos x \langle \uparrow |+ \exp(-i\phi)\sin x \langle \downarrow|\end{equation}

now take the scalar product with the  ket vectors in different options.

 Answer

There is an error in the options. No option is correct.
