This work is being pursued with a philosophy of working without attachment expressed beautifully by Sri RamKrishna Paramhansa who once said, “To work without attachment is to work without the expectation of reward or fear of any punishment in this world or the next. Work so done is a means to the end, and God is the end.

 Features of the PROOFS Program

  1. The objectives and features of the PROOFS Programmes are as follows.
  2. Physics Resources Online Open and Free Source (PROOFS) Programme aims to provide content and resources to every one involved in teaching and learning of Physics.
  3. The Programme aims to involve Physics community in creating and sharing content.
  4. The content is to be made freely available online to every one connected to  internet. Free means zero charges to users and free of any commercial interests. 
  5. The content  developed under this Programme will remain freely available any  time anywhere.
  6. The PROOFS Programme envisages sharing of source files, under Creative  Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License.
  7. In the first phase it will level of content will be on undergraduate and  postgraduate courses.
  8. One of the features of the Programme is to make optimum use of best resources  available on the internet and to build upon works of giants.
  9. An important feature of this   Programme is to  create a repository of resources that can be used and reused to make packages to suit a wide variety of requirements.
  10. One of the aims of the PROOFS Programme is to encourage participation of all  stakeholders and  to empower interested user by providing resources and tools to create content to suit individual requirements.
