Problem Solving Units

Each problem solving unit will focus on one aspect of a topic.
There are several tabs which include
1) An introduction 
2) Results/formulae etc needed for solving problems with full explanantion
3) Short examples to expain the background material formulae etc required for solving the problems 
4) A few solved problems and a set of practise problems 
5) Mixed-Bag of a variety of problems
A link, in the beginning and also at the end of the page, is provided for the readers to give feedback and to post comments, questions, and new interesting problems that they may come across.

Problem Sessions

These sessions are designed for purpose of training the students to  the problems

These sets contain practise exercises

These are meant to test understanding of defintion, results and techniques etc.
Quiz paper are designed to fit into critrion that its answer can be
written down in 15-30 minutes. Most of the time detailed algebraic computations are
not needed.

4. Short Question Sessions
Several Questions focussed on one or two aspects are included. Typically one such session may require about 30 to 90 minutes of time to write out the ansers.

The WebQuest resources [1], [2],[3] will primarily be designed for those students who have had some exposure to the subject. Most of these will be on  topics normally not covered in text books. Many WebQuests available here can be used as term paper assignments in a course. They also provides a scheme for self learning of advanced topics.

Experimental Content Under Devlopment

For each area of Phhysics a new Content Type, "Summary of Facts to Be Remembered"
is introduced on experimental basis. At present a few items for
Electromagnetic Theory and Quantum Mechanics
are made available.

Cross Roads

The content of each type, lecture notes, questions.., are arranged according to area ( CM,QM, ..) which are further divided into suitable modules. As an example Free Particle is 12th module of Quantum Mechanics.

For each module of every area, one page of cross  roads is planned. The cross roads will have links to all categories of content related to the module. This will give an overview of what all is  available on a given topic.
